The San Diego District Attorney’s Office hosts a POST certified Witness Protection Training course once each year.  It is the only course of this type in the state.  Witness protection issues can occur in a wide variety of cases and is something a DA Investigator needs to know in order to manage and respond to.  This course covers many aspects of WP, including tactical considerations, witness movement, practical firearms training, legal issues and more.  All certified instructors are DAIs themselves.  Investigators from across the state are invited to contact me directly if they have any questions about the course or would like to register.
